Teacher Tube Video
This is a fun video about the importance of using sources other than Google and Uncle George when doing research. I think I may use it with my fifth graders who think that Google and Wikipedia are all they need for research projects.

Looks like an interesting video. However, it takes forever to load. I don't know if that is because of a problem on my end or if it just takes forever to load. Does anyone know if there is a way to speed up loading time on our sites? I know that students would give up and not watch it and they would be missing out.
This video did take a long time to load, but it would be a nice thing to show students when talking to them about where they need to go for reliable information. There is also a nice video on TeacherTube that you should check out that warns students about posting stuff on the web (pics, comments, etc.). Once it is on the web (blogs, wikis, etc.), it is there forever.
